2. Who is the Data Controller? We are the company LyžeGoHome – ski rental and service, Radovan Koritenský, ID: 76586979, with registered office at Lichoceves 43, 252 64 Velké Přílepy and premises at Na Březince 8, Prague 5 – Smíchov, Czech Republic.

We process your personal data as a controller—meaning we determine how and for what purpose your personal data will be processed, for how long, and we select any third-party processors who assist us with processing.

Declaration of the Controller: We declare that, as the controller of your personal data, we comply with all legal obligations required by applicable legislation, specifically national data protection laws and the GDPR:

• We process your personal data only based on valid legal grounds (legitimate interest, performance of a contract, legal obligation, or granted consent).

• We fulfill our information duty under Article 13 of the GDPR prior to initiating data processing.

• We enable and support you in exercising your rights under data protection laws and the GDPR.

3. Scope of Personal Data & Purposes of Processing We process personal data that you entrust to us for the following purposes:

• Provision of services & performance of contract: First name, last name, email address, scan/number of ID card or other identity document, address, phone number.

• Accounting: If you are a customer, we strictly require your billing details to comply with legal obligations for issuing and archiving tax documents.

• Marketing – sending newsletters: We use your personal data (email, name, gender, email open rates, and link clicks) for direct marketing purposes.

  • Customers: We send updates based on legitimate interest for 5 years from your last rental or business interaction.

  • Non-customers: We send newsletters only based on your explicit consent for 5 years from opt-in.

  • You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or by sending an SMS opt-out request to +420 773 47 39 12.

We retain your personal data for the duration of applicable statutory limitation periods, unless a longer retention period is mandated by law.

4. Cookies When browsing our website, we record your IP address, time spent on pages, and referring URLs. We view the use of cookies for measuring site traffic and customizing website displays as our legitimate interest.

7. Audiovisual Recordings (CCTV) Our rental and service shop premises are monitored by a CCTV camera system for security purposes only (located at doors, windows, and checkout counters).

• Signage at the shop transparently informs visitors about the CCTV system and controller details.

• Footage is retained for 30 business days.

8. Data Transfers Outside the European Union All processing of personal data is carried out strictly within the territory of the European Union (EU).

9. Your Rights Under the GDPR In connection with personal data protection, you hold the following rights (you can exercise them by emailing info@lyze-go-home.cz):

• Right to Information: Fulfilled by this informational page.

• Right of Access: You can request details on what data we process and why (we will process your request within 14 days).

• Right to Rectification and Addition: The ability to update inaccurate or incomplete information.

• Right to Restrict Processing: The ability to limit the scope of processing or specific purposes.

• Right to Data Portability: Receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format (within 14 days).

• Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”): Permanent deletion of your personal data from all systems and backups within 30 days (excluding data subject to statutory archiving obligations).

• Right to Lodge a Complaint: You may contact the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ) at any time. We would appreciate it if you contact us first so we can resolve any issues directly.

Note: In the event of a personal data breach, we are obligated to notify the Supervisory Authority and affected customers within 72 hours.

10. Confidentiality Our employees and contractors handling your personal data are bound by strict non-disclosure obligations regarding personal data and security measures. This obligation continues even after contractual relationships end. Your data will not be released to any third party without your consent.
